CH Merryell Absolutely Spellbound
Casey finished her championship under revered judge Edd Biven, who remarked at the time about her beautiful structure.
Casey went Best of Winners/Best of Opposite Sex at the 2008 Bichon Frise Club of Puget Sound Specialty under judge Gary Dunlop. Afterwards, the judge said he knew she was his Best of Winners the moment she came in the ring, because of her outstanding movement and presence.
Casey got first place in her Sweepstakes class at the Bichon Frise Club of America 2007 National Specialty under judge Deedy Sorenson.
Casey is a playful, smart, funny dog who is really fun to live with. She produced three champions in three litters, Rosie, Jackie, and Connor. She was an absolutely wonderful mother to her puppies, and even now that she is spayed and retired, she loves to take care of her older sister, Jennie. She also watched over her dam, Annie, in her declining years, never straying far from her mother’s side.
(You can see from the photos that I was not a very good groomer in those days. Thank heavens the judges recognized her potential! She won Best of Winners/Best of Opposite Sex on many occasions from the classes before receiving her championship.)
